The Interventional Spine Physician provides non-surgical care for patients with acute and chronic spine-related conditions, focusing on evaluation, diagnosis, and interventional management of musculoskeletal and spine disorders. The role aims to improve function, reduce pain, and support quality outcomes through a patient-centered, team-based care model.
Key Responsibilities
- • Evaluate and manage patients with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions
- • Perform interventional spine procedures, including epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections and medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), sacroiliac joint and trigger point injections
- • Develop individualized, non surgical treatment plans
- • Review diagnostic imaging and relevant clinical data
- • Collaborate with physical therapy, pain management, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and primary care teams
- • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- • Participate in quality, safety, and clinical improvement initiatives
Required
- • Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- • Fellowship Trained in Interventional Spine
- • Active or eligible state medical license
- • DEA registration or ability to obtain
Preferred
- • Experience with fluoroscopy‑guided and/or ultrasound‑guided procedures
- • Outpatient spine or musculoskeletal practice experience

Primary Responsibilities
