Family Physician - No OB - Full Time and Part Time Options
The Family Physician provides primary care to patients of all ages and genders as part of a cross-disciplinary team. This role includes clinical leadership within the care team and collaboration with nurse practitioners and midwives under collaborative practice agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provides primary care for MCHCC patients in clinic
- • Provides clinical leadership for the care team in which they are located
- • Serves as a collaborating physician on collaborative practice agreements for nurse practitioners and midwives
- • Utilizes EMR effectively in patient care
- • Utilizes multiple resources for MCHCC communication
- • Other duties that support our shared work, as assigned
Required
- • Physician’s license to practice in the State of Indiana or ability to obtain licensure required
- • DEA registration required
- • State of Indiana license to prescribe controlled substances (CSR)
- • Proof of residency completion with board eligibility and board certification required
- • BLS required
- • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- • Ability to perform prolonged or extensive standing and walking
- • Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
- • Ability to perform prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
- • We are required by federal law to verify identity and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- • Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills

- • Motivational Interviewing training preferred; training supported
