The Manager of Scientific & Medical will manage the development and dissemination of scientific and clinical information to support medical relations and clinical research activities. This role involves collaborating with global stakeholders to align on strategic direction, execution, and content of scientific information.
Key Responsibilities
- • Collect and critically analyze internal and external documents and studies to develop scientific communication assets such as posters, publications, and medical decks for healthcare providers (HCPs).
- • Assist in the development of scientific clinical studies, and medical relations with HCPs inclusive of boards and discussions.
- • Stay up to date on new scientific publications and scientific communication in dermatology and aesthetic skincare. Summarize relevant information that could assist with clinical study ideation, design, or competitive response.
- • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with medical experts and cross-functional business partners to understand their needs and identify how medical communications can meet those needs.
- • Collaborate in regular strategic medical meetings with global zones and teams.
- • Manage contracts and data privacy compliance related to global scientific/academic studies, clinicals, and relations.
- • Maintain and update trackers of scientific and medical data.
- • Support the development of digital tools/portals to enhance the medical portfolio.
- • Provide additional medical relations support on various projects in collaboration with marketing upstream strategies and R&I related studies, as needed.
- • Medical writing experience is required and Excel is a must. Please provide published examples for review.
Required
- • 1-3+ years of relevant working experience.
- • Medical writing experience is required and Excel is a must.
- • Project management experience with multiple projects and varying priorities, demonstrating a high level of organization and prioritization skills.
- • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders and share clinical results with relevant parties.
- • Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in PowerPoint.
- • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
- • Experience with scientific slide deck creation and/or medical writing.
- • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred
- • A master's, PhD, or professional healthcare degree (MD, DO, PharmD) is preferred.
- • Preferred areas of study include life and social sciences (such as Chemistry, Biology, Neuroscience, Biological, Physical or Material Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related fields) or healthcare (such as Physician, Pharmacists, or related fields).
- • Working knowledge of the dermatology therapeutic area is preferred.
- • Ability to think creatively and conceptually.

What You Will Do
The Manager of Scientific & Medical will play a crucial role as a highly visible and integral part of the global Medical Relations team. Additional Benefits Information As Follows
Salary Range: $100,400- $121, 550 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
