Pediatric Endocrinology Physician | Affiliate Faculty - Beautiful Reno/Lake Tahoe
This role involves full-time outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology practice with a diverse and established patient population, including inpatient consultations at the Children’s Hospital. The physician will work within a dedicated team, participate in teaching medical students, residents, and PA students, and engage in a community-based training model with ACGME-accredited residencies.
Key Responsibilities
- • Full-time outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology practice with a diverse and established patient population and IP consultations in our Children’s Hospital.
- • Participate in rotating shared call with a dedicated team of 2 Physicians.
- • Work with 1:1 MA support and a Diabetes Care team including 2 RD CDE, 1 RN CDE, Care Coordinator RN, Social Worker, and Community Healthcare worker.
- • Collaborate with a dedicated prior authorization Pharmacy Liaison and Pediatric Infusion Center onsite.
- • Affiliate Faculty Appointment with UNR Med.
- • Teaching medical students, residents, and PA students.
- • Engage in a community-based training model with ACGME-accredited IM, FM, Pediatric residencies.
Required
- • MD, DO and BE/BC in Pediatric Endocrinology
- • Eligibility or Nevada medical licensures, state pharmacy, and DEA
- • Commitment to clinical care, education and academic service
