Gastroenterologist - West Palm Beach, FL
This role involves providing a balanced mix of inpatient hospital consults and outpatient clinical and procedural care, focusing on general gastroenterology services. The candidate will perform high-volume GI procedures and work in a collaborative, well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities
- • Evaluate and manage patients in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital rounds.
- • Perform standard GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.
- • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
- • Participate in a shared call rotation (details discussed during interview).
Required
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- • Proficiency in upper endoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy
- • Eligible for or holding an active Florida Medical License and DEA registration
- • Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred
- • Experience with advanced endoscopy procedures (ERCP, EUS) is a plus but not required
