Ascension
Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area within a full-spectrum Family Medicine practice. Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills while participating in efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care. Opportunity to engage in academic programs and inpatient/outpatient consultations, including on-call schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
- • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- • Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- • Participate in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
- • Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- • Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
Required
- • Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Preferred
- • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- • Must be board certified or board eligible.
