Neurohospitalist
Provide inpatient neurology services primarily at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital and Waynesboro Hospital, including ED and inpatient consults. The role offers a flexible schedule with no acute stroke coverage and some outpatient work opportunities, sharing weekend call among four neurologists.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide inpatient neurology services primarily at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital as well as Waynesboro Hospital just 20 minutes away
- • Services provided include ED consults and Inpatient consults
- • No acute stroke coverage, we have teleneurology in place
- • Flexible Schedule: Monday through Friday or 7on/7off
- • Role offers opportunity for some outpatient work
- • Weekend call is shared among 4 Neurologists
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
- • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
- • Diplomate of the American Board of Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Medicine. Upon Hire Required
- • Completion of a Neurology residency. Upon Hire Required
- • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required
- • Teaching skills.
