Physician - Family Medicine
The Family Medicine Physician will provide primary care to a diverse patient population, including preventative care such as routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations, and screening tests. The role involves working collaboratively with 13 primary care providers and various specialty providers in a new Primary Care office designed for efficient patient and staff flow.
Key Responsibilities
- • Treat patients in the primary care office providing preventative care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests.
- • Work collaboratively with 13 primary care providers and specialty providers.
- • Provide care in a full-time position seeing patients four days a week.
- • Participate in minimal required call.
Required
- • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- • Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- • Board Certification/Eligibility.
- • Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
Preferred
- • EMR Experience preferred.

Pen Bay Family Medicine in beautiful Rockport, Maine is currently seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join its local team. The position will allow for a diverse patient population; treating patients in the primary care office providing preventative care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests.
The position offers a collaborative environment working with 13 primary care providers as well as access to many different specialty providers. The new Primary Care office allows for an easy flow for support staff and patients. The position is a full-time opportunity seeing patients four days a week, call is required forthis position but is very minimal.

Rockport, Maine, is a scenic coastal community in the heart of a four-season recreation area. Surrounded by both lakes and the ocean, Rockport is a haven for boating, swimming, fishing, ATV trail riding, and sailing. The nearby mountains provide hiking and mountain biking with vista views of Penobscot Bay and our neighboring Island communities.
