The Physician provides medical assessments, treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, and supervises treatment for chronic medical conditions in a correctional setting. The role involves participating in organizational initiatives to prevent diseases and injuries and working under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or Statewide Medical Director in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.

Required
- • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- • Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
- • Ability to pass credentialing and background check

Qualifications
