Oracle Health Director, Clinical Sustainment

This director-level role leads the Clinical Executive Sustainment team to enhance care-team experience, performance improvement, and ongoing optimization. The position involves providing clinical informatics leadership and subject matter expertise to sustain safe, effective operations and drive adoption across healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for post-go-live clinical activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop site-facing clinical executives; build a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline.
  • Establish and evolve standardized sustainment playbooks and clinical governance structures to support safe care delivery and clinician experience.
  • Lead multidisciplinary clinical informatics teams to drive stabilization, adoption, workflow optimization, and standardization across sites.
  • Partner closely with client clinical and operational leaders (e.g., CMIO/CNIO equivalents, service line leadership) to assess readiness, align priorities, and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional response for complex clinical or operational issues, ensuring timely resolution, clear communications, and documented mitigations.
  • Use data and analytics to drive continuous improvement (e.g., adoption measures, workflow performance, incident/request trends, satisfaction, patient safety-related indicators).
  • Champion an inclusive, high-accountability culture focused on mission outcomes, patient safety, and clinical adoption.
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field of study
  • 12+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare operations, healthcare IT consulting.
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience with a track record of building, scaling, and managing large, high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex programs/portfolios with multiple workstreams and executive stakeholders
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, and influencing skills; with a proven ability to build credibility and partner effectively with senior leaders.
  • US Citizenship is required with an ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Preferred
  • Advanced degree in healthcare related field of study, licensed clinical background (RN, PharmD, MD/DO, etc.) and/or significant clinical informatics leadership experience
  • Experience in supporting Federal or Public Sector healthcare programs

This director-level position is responsible for leading Clinical Executive Sustainment team for Oracle Health Government Services, with primary accountability for care-team experience, performance improvement, and ongoing optimization. The role leads a team that provides clinical informatics leadership, subject matter expertise, and coordinated clinical support to sustain safe, effective operations and drive adoption across healthcare facilities.

To be successful in this role:

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 - $291,800 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
