Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Cancer Center seeks a Hematology Oncologist to provide state-of-the-art cancer treatment using the latest research and individualized care. The role involves participating in multidisciplinary system specific conferences and weekly team meetings to review patient cases and monitor ongoing treatments, with opportunities for patients to join advanced cancer trials.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide state-of-the-art treatment for patients with cancer incorporating the latest research and treatment options
- • Participate in ongoing multidisciplinary system specific conferences to enhance safety and effectiveness of patient treatment
- • Carefully monitor each patient during ongoing treatments
- • Meet weekly with a multidisciplinary team of other doctors to review cases
- • Offer patients the opportunity to participate in leading cancer trials
Required
- • BE/BC with excellent clinical training
- • Experience in general oncology including hematology and solid tumors
- • MD (Required)
- • Commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care
Preferred
- • Training in benign hematology is also a preference
- • Adaptable colleague interested in building the practice and becoming active in the community
- • Strong interest in clinical research and medical education

- Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Award Winning Cancer Center is seeking a Hematology Oncologist to join our distinguished team.
- We provide state-of-the-art treatment for patients with cancer, incorporating the latest research and treatment options to deliver individualized care to patients.
- In an effort to enhance the safety and effectiveness of each patient’s treatment, the doctors at Mount Sinai participate in ongoing multidisciplinary system specific conferences.
- We carefully monitor each patient during ongoing treatments, and meet weekly with a multidisciplinary team of other doctors to review cases. Our patients have the opportunity to participate in leading cancer trials, allowing them access to promising advanced treatments years before they are FDA approved.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care.
