Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care, including diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for patients with hematologic disorders and oncologic conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team and participate in oncology care programs, tumor boards, and clinical care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- • Evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions
- • Inpatient and outpatient consultations

- • Bone marrow biopsy and aspiration procedures
- • Management of chemotherapy and infusion-based treatments
- • Interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic results
- • Coordination of multidisciplinary patient care
- • Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- • Develop individualized treatment plans
- • Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans accordingly
- • Provide discharge education and care transition planning
- • Provide bedside consultations for hospitalized patients
- • Collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and critical care teams
- • Support infusion clinic operations and oncology services
- • Participate in tumor boards and clinical case conferences
- • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- • Maintain timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- • Participate in clinical staff meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
- • Evenings and overnight call rotation
- • Weekend call rotation
- • Holiday coverage rotation
- • Be available for telephone consultation and in-person evaluation when clinically necessary
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- • Board Certification in Hematology
- • Board Certification in Medical Oncology
- • Active unrestricted medical license in the United States
- • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- • Current DEA registration
- • National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder Required
Preferred
- • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology care
- • Experience performing bone marrow biopsies
- • Experience participating in tumor boards or multidisciplinary cancer programs

Full-Time Clinical Position – Albuquerque, New Mexico (Any State License is accepted.)
Position OverviewWe are seeking Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physicians to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient oncology and hematology care within a multidisciplinary medical center environment. Physicians will deliver diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services for patients with hematologic disorders and oncologic conditions while collaborating with a broader care team.
This position offers a stable, long-term clinical opportunity supporting a large patient population and participating in ongoing oncology care programs, tumor boards, and clinical care coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical CareProvide comprehensive hematology and oncology services including:

Clinic Hours
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-Call Coverage ( This can be flexible depending on availability.)
- Evenings and overnight call rotation
- Weekend call rotation
- Holiday coverage rotation
On-call physicians must be available for telephone consultation and in-person evaluation when clinically necessary.
