Key Responsibilities
- • Deliver inpatient palliative consultations for patients with advanced or life-limiting illnesses
- • Manage complex symptoms including pain, breathlessness, nausea, anxiety, and agitation
- • Facilitate family meetings and goals-of-care discussions with clarity and compassion
- • Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and other members of the care team to guide treatment decisions
- • Provide emotional and decision-making support to patients and their loved ones
- • Educate healthcare teams on symptom control and palliative care principles
- • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the medical record
- • Help foster a care environment grounded in dignity, empathy, and respect
Required
- • MD or DO with Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine
- • Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine required

We’re seeking a full-time Palliative Care Physician to join our consultative inpatient team in Gilbert, AZ. You'll work closely with two full-time Nurse Practitioners and an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, consult-based palliative care in a hospital setting.
