OAA Orthopaedic Specialists
This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with spinal conditions through a full range of spinal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and complex surgeries. The position emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the growth and development of a comprehensive spine program integrating surgical and non-surgical care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with spinal conditions, including degenerative disorders, trauma, deformities, and other spine-related pathologies
- • Perform a full range of spinal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and complex spine surgeries
- • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating surgical and conservative care
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pain management, physical therapy, radiology, and orthopaedic subspecialties
- • Provide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care
- • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- • Participate in on-call coverage and hospital rounding as required
- • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations
- • Contribute to growth of the spine service line through outreach and referral development
- • Adhere to all clinical, ethical, and professional standards
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
- • Completion of an accredited residency program
- • Fellowship training in Spine Surgery
- • Active or eligibility for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
- • DEA registration (or eligibility)
- • Ability to obtain hospital privileges

OAA Orthopaedic Specialists, a private practice in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Spine Surgeon Physician to join our team. This opportunity arises as a senior spine surgeon transition toward reduced clinical hours, providing an immediate and steady flow of both established and new patients.
We are a highly respected, multi-specialty orthopaedic group committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Our practice has maintained independence and offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment for surgeons interested in building and growing a thriving spine practice.
Our comprehensive spine program integrates surgical and non-surgical care, with close collaboration among pain management, chiropractic, non-operative spine specialists, and physical/occupational therapy—all under one roof.
