Physician - Non-invasive Cardiology
The role involves providing non-invasive cardiology services with a focus on cardiovascular disease and imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and MRI. The successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with opportunities for clinical research and service at multiple sites across several states.
Key Responsibilities

- • Provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia as needed, including travel
Required
- • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent

The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek non-invasive cardiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) for faculty positions at our main academic medical campus in Morgantown, WV.
Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.
Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease with additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and/or MRI. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidates will be actively involved in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows. Opportunities also exist in clinical research.
