Join a high-volume outpatient Otolaryngology practice with an immediate full patient volume generated by a robust primary care network. The role involves managing a general ENT patient mix with opportunities to develop a Facial Plastic & Reconstructive service line, supported by an efficient clinic staff and on-site Audiologist.
Key Responsibilities
- • Manage existing overflow of ENT-specific referrals with a full patient volume.
- • Work a schedule of Monday–Thursday (8 AM–5 PM) and Fridays (8 AM–3 PM).
- • Provide clinical care including 3 clinic days, 1–2 OR days, and a ½ day procedure clinic.
- • See approximately 35–40 clinic patients per day and perform 5–10 surgeries per week.
- • Perform surgeries primarily at a dedicated off-site ambulatory surgery center with 95% outpatient cases.
- • Participate in informal, shared post-op call only with no trauma or ER call and no inpatient rounding.
Required
- • MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology.
- • Eligible for Texas medical licensure.

Position Overview
CHRISTUS Santa Rosa is in a period of massive expansion across San Antonio and is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Otolaryngologist to join an established, high-volume outpatient practice in the highly desirable Stone Oak market. With a robust primary care network generating over 700 ENT-specific referrals annually, the incoming physician will step into an immediate, full-volume practice managing existing overflow rather than hunting for cases.
Practice Highlights
- ZERO trauma or ER call. No inpatient rounding. Informal, shared post-op call only.
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday (8 AM–5 PM) and Fridays (8 AM–3 PM).
- Clinical Scope: 3 clinic days, 1–2 OR days, and a ½ day procedure clinic. Expect 35–40 clinic patients/day and 5–10 surgeries/week.
- Efficient Surgical Setup: Dedicated block time at a highly efficient, off-site ambulatory surgery center (ASC). 95% of cases are outpatient.
- Patient Mix: General ENT foundation with a wide-open opportunity to build a Facial Plastic & Reconstructive service line.
