The Attending Physician serves as a steward of population health through the Outcomes-Centered Healthcare model, providing leadership in client facilities and collaborating closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians to ensure high-quality, accountable, team-based care. Physicians may also serve in a Medical Directorship capacity, offering clinical leadership and oversight within one or more facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- • Serve as a steward of population health through Eventus WholeHealth’s Outcomes-Centered Healthcare (OCH) model
- • Provide leadership in client facilities
- • Collaborate closely with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) towards excellence in patient care and professionalism in client relations
- • Ensure high-quality, accountable, team-based care across assigned facilities
- • Serve in a designated Medical Directorship capacity, providing clinical leadership and oversight within one or more facilities
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
- • Active and unrestricted medical license in applicable state(s); DEA registration as required
Preferred
- • Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred
- • CMD certification a plus; required within 2 years if serving in a Medical Directorship capacity
- • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in post-acute, long-term care, or value-based care settings preferred
- • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership
- • Familiarity with EMR systems (AthenaHealth preferred) and care coordination workflow

Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required. Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred.
