Required

- • Strong leadership experience in managing PICU operations, including staff supervision, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives
- • Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- • Experience in conducting or leading research relevant to pediatric critical care medicine
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- • Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare settings
- • Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director, Pediatric Intensivist (Faculty) at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Director will provide expert care to critically ill pediatric patients, oversee and manage the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and lead the development of clinical protocols. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to research initiatives, and participating in quality improvement and administrative projects. The Director will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and support program growth aligned with the department's vision.
Qualifications
