Description
The Emory University Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center is seeking a full-time Ophthalmologist Hospitalist (1.0 FTE) to support hospital-based ophthalmology services, including Midtown and EUH/EUHM coverage. This role is intended to provide a dedicated FTE for a growing inpatient service at EUHM, reducing reliance on coverage currently being piecemealed by faculty during clinic time at Midtown, and supporting workflows where inpatient consults may require clinic-based testing as part of evaluation. Candidates should demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, a patient-centered approach, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.
NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
