Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic pediatrician to join Piedmont Pediatrics, one of Atlanta's premier pediatric practices, as we expand our clinical services. We welcome both recent residency graduates and experienced physicians who are looking for the right fit. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of our growth while providing comprehensive care in both office and hospital nursery settings.

About Piedmont Pediatrics

For over 50 years, Piedmont Pediatrics has been providing high-quality, compassionate medical care to children and families in Atlanta. We are relocating to a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility at 2021 Peachtree Medical in Buckhead, where we occupy the entire fourth floor.

Our practice is known for our whole-child approach to pediatric care. We go beyond traditional wellness and sick visits to include:

• Nutrition counseling with our registered dietitian
• Lactation services with our lactation certified NP
• Pediatric asthma and allergy services (offering in-office PFT’s, allergy testing and treatment)
• Care for our newborns at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital nursery

With a team of 6 physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, and experienced support staff, we provide comprehensive, personalized care in a welcoming, child-friendly environment. Our new facility offers modern amenities, convenient parking, and easy accessibility for our families.

Schedule

• Looking to hire pediatricians for urgent care visits during expanded after hours (evening and weekends) and pediatricians seeking a more traditional daytime schedule with call and hospital nursery rounding. We would also consider a hybrid job opportunity.
• Rotating schedule including days, evenings, and weekends to support our need to expand hours

Responsibilities

As a pediatrician in our practice, you will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in both office and hospital settings. Responsibilities include well-child visits, acute illness management, chronic disease management, developmental assessments, immunizations, and health education for families. You could round in the Piedmont Hospital nursery and participate in our call rotation, depending on the job path you are considering. You will work collaboratively with our experienced providers and staff to deliver high-quality, family-centered care, maintain accurate medical records using our EHR system, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Required:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program (or graduating residents)
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics
• Valid medical license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain
• DEA certification or eligibility to obtain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care
• Alignment with our practice values and whole-child care philosophy
