The US Medical Director for RSV adult vaccines supports the US Medical Affairs Lead in developing and executing strategic medical and scientific activities. The role involves designing, evaluating, interpreting, summarizing, and presenting real-world evidence, as well as developing and delivering presentations, webinars, and other communication outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- • Develop and execute a medical education strategy supporting RSV Adult vaccination in the US
- • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of medical education and engagement plan across various channels with medical priorities
- • Provide vaccine medical expertise and support on behalf of the US Medical Affairs team to cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment of internal communications and training around new and key scientific data on RSV
- • Partner cross-functionally within medical to ensure aligned KOLs activities to gather feedback and input into strategy development and execution
- • Provide medical review for medical education grants
- • Demonstrate expertise in communication across multiple channels, including, but not limited to, live and virtual presentations in small or large settings, and written communication
Required
- • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
- • Advanced degree and relevant experience in vaccines/infectious diseases/public health/epidemiology (e.g., MD with 4+ years)

- • Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration; ability to influence, succeed through others, and operate effectively in a matrix organization
- • Project/program management skills; ability to manage projects to completion and deliver high-quality work within timelines
- • Demonstrate expertise in communication across multiple channels, including, but not limited to, live and virtual presentations in small or large settings, and written communication
- • Proven ability to influence and succeed through others and to form excellent relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders
- • Experience with medical education strategy development and delivery across multiple channels (including active learning modalities)
- • Experience developing and executing key medical activities such as congress strategies and expert advisory boards
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including scientific writing skills
- • Strong interpersonal skills

- • Previous experience in pharmaceutical industry

As the US Medical Director for RSV adult vaccines, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the US Medical Affairs Lead for RSV adult vaccines, in the development and execution of strategic medical and scientific activities. The incumbent should be experienced with designing, evaluating, interpreting, summarizing, and presenting real-world evidence and will be skillful with data visualization and presentation tools to convert complex analysis into meaningful insights. In addition to the analytic component of the position, the incumbent will develop and deliver presentations, webinars, and other communication outlets, as needed.
Role Responsibilities
As the US Medical Director, RSV Adult Vaccines, the incumbent will be responsible for executing US medical affairs activities. This will entail the following:
- Develop and execute a medical education strategy supporting RSV Adult vaccination in the US
