Key Responsibilities

• • Conducts psychiatric consultations, assessments, and follow-up appointments via secure telehealth platforms.
• • Prescribes, reviews, and manages psychotropic medications, including careful titration and monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• • Develops and implements individualized medical management and treatment plans in collaboration with the client's multidisciplinary care team (therapist, psychiatrist, etc.).
• • Provides psychoeducation to clients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, and medication regimen.
• • Maintains accurate, timely, and confidential electronic health records (EHRs) in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• • Participates in regular case consultations and clinical supervision.
• • Adheres to all state-specific laws and regulations governing telepsychiatry and advanced practice nursing/physician assistant practice.
• • Engages in ongoing professional development and training relevant to mental health and telehealth delivery.
• • Utilizes telehealth technology, high-speed internet, professional webcam, and microphone from a dedicated, private, and secure home office space.
• • Ensures HIPAA regulations compliance in all virtual care delivery and record keeping.
• • Maintains licensure requirements and is willing to obtain multistate licensure as needed.
• • Manages a virtual caseload independently while exhibiting excellent clinical judgment and strong diagnostic skills.
