CV Anesthesiologist

The Cardiac Anesthesiologist works in a collaborative care team environment to provide anesthesia services for complex cardiac procedures. The role involves close cooperation with a high-performing cardiac surgery team to ensure exceptional patient care and participation in hospital committees and leadership roles for quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services for a variety of complex cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve replacements, arrhythmia surgeries, and other cardiac interventions.
  • Work closely with a high-performing cardiac surgery team that works together to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
  • Actively participate in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
Required
  • Board certified/eligible.
  • Cardiac Fellowship trained.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

We are hiring Cardiac Anesthesiologists for our team in Denver. The Cardiac Anesthesiologist role requires working in a collaborative care team environment alongside other anesthesia professionals to provide exceptional care for the patients we serve.

Local Team Collaboration

  • We take pride in developing strong collaborative teams. At St. Joseph Hospital, our Cardiac team will be comprised of an Anesthesiologist, who will work together to deliver exceptional care.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
  • Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Board certified/eligible.
  • Cardiac Fellowship trained.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

  • We offer various flexible scheduling options, including W2 or 1099.
  • A full-time CV anesthesiologist's workload consists of:
    • Week 1: Daytime OR cases (Monday – Friday)
    • Week 2: Daytime OR cases (Monday through Friday) + home pager call (nights and weekends)
    • Week 3: No clinical obligations

Compensation
