Tampa Family Health Centers
This role provides leadership and oversight for pediatric services, focusing on quality, productivity, provider development, clinical operations, and evidence-based pediatric care. It also serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program, supporting accreditation, resident education, faculty development, and continuous program improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide leadership and oversight for pediatric providers and pediatric clinic operations
- • Support recruitment, retention, training, and development of pediatric provider personnel
- • Monitor quality, productivity, compliance, and clinical performance measures
- • Participate in accreditation efforts, including AAAHC, UDS, NCQA, HRSA, and ACGME requirements
- • Oversee pediatric chart reviews, peer reviews, and provider feedback processes
- • Lead and support the Pediatric Residency Program in collaboration with the Associate Program Director
- • Ensure residency curriculum, evaluations, committees, and accreditation standards are maintained
- • Provide direct pediatric patient care, including well-child visits, acute visits, and preventive care
- • Collaborate with leadership, providers, staff, residents, and community partners
- • Travel between pediatric health center sites as needed
Required
- • Current unrestricted Florida medical license, MD or DO
- • Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics
- • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practice experience in an FQHC or ambulatory setting
- • Strong leadership, communication, clinical operations, and compliance knowledge
Preferred
- • Graduate Medical Education experience preferred
- • Scholarly activity preferred
- • EPIC experience preferred
