The Hospice Medical Director provides PRN support in an administrative and clinical oversight capacity within a collaborative hospice care model. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical appropriateness of hospice services, primarily through the review, approval, and recertification of Certificates of Terminal Illness (CTIs). This position partners with hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary hospice teams to support high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care.
Key Responsibilities

The Medical Director will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical appropriateness of hospice services, with a primary focus on the review, approval, and recertification of Certificates of Terminal Illness (CTIs). This position partners closely with hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary hospice teams to support high‑quality, patient‑centered end‑of‑life care.
