Job Description
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida is seeking outstanding, motivated faculty members who are interested in starting/continuing a career in academic physiatry. The Department is looking for a board eligible/certified physician interested in joining a rapidly growing PM&R Program at one of the premiere medical centers in the southeast.
Due to our rapid growth, we have multiple areas of need including:
- General PM&R Outpatient Clinics including:
- Interest and experience performing Botox as well as EMG/NCS procedures
- Traumatic Brian Injury/Stroke
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Limb Loss/Amputee
The successful candidate must be an MD or DO board eligible/certified physiatrist with strong clinical and interpersonal skills, a commitment to academic physiatry, including resident and medical student teaching, and scholarship. The ideal candidate will have interests in inpatient and consultative medicine, teaching our residents in our residency program, and working in a pre-eminent academic medical center.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals focused on delivering high quality and high value patient care. Responsibilities will also include evaluation and management of patients and teaching residents and medical students.
This position will be Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on a tenure or non-tenure accruing track. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
