Candidates should not have any experience working on a Mercor project before.

This role involves leveraging deep Psychiatry expertise to guide AI research teams, create precise annotation standards, and develop evaluation frameworks to improve AI model performance. The position requires designing domain-relevant medical tasks, evaluating solutions, and collaborating with other experts to ensure data quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in Psychiatry.
  • Create and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to Psychiatry.
  • Develop guidelines and detailed rubrics/evaluation frameworks to assess Medicine reasoning across tasks.
  • Design challenging, domain-relevant tasks across multiple specializations, and write accurate and well-structured solutions to medical problems.
  • Evaluate medical tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback.
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
Required
  • Currently living in the US, UK, or Canada.
  • MD or DO from a reputable medical school.
  • Have 2+ years of clinical practice experience at a top-tier institution practicing Psychiatry.

Join a leading AI lab’s cutting-edge GenAI team and help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We're seeking talented Psychiatry subject-matter experts (SMEs) to bring deep domain expertise and elevate the quality of our AI training data. This is a remote, flexible opportunity to collaborate directly with the research teams of a leading AI lab.
