The following disclosures supplement the privacy policy above and provide additional detail about how Mozibox collects, uses, and processes your data across specific platform features.
Resume Data
When you upload a resume to Mozibox, we collect and process the following:
- Uploaded files: Resume documents (PDF, DOCX, and other supported formats) are stored securely on our servers.
- Parsed text: We extract text content from your resume using automated parsing tools.
- Structured data: AI-powered tools (including OpenAI) analyze your resume to extract structured information such as work history, education, skills, and certifications.
How resume data is used: To provide career insights, job matching and recommendations, resume analysis feedback, and to power the Ask Mo career assistant. You may delete your resume and associated parsed data at any time through your account settings.
AI Processing
Mozibox uses artificial intelligence in several areas of the platform:
- Resume analysis: Resumes are processed by OpenAI's API to extract structured data and provide career suggestions.
- Job classification: AI is used to categorize job listings by specialty, role type, and other attributes.
- Ask Mo chatbot: User questions submitted to the Ask Mo career assistant are sent to OpenAI for processing and response generation.
- Content generation: AI may be used to generate job descriptions, article summaries, and other platform content.
- Job matching: AI-generated embeddings are used to match your profile and preferences with relevant job opportunities.
Data sent to OpenAI: When AI features are used, relevant data (such as resume text, user questions, or job listing content) is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI processes this data according to their privacy policy and API data usage policies. Mozibox uses OpenAI's API, which does not use submitted data for training purposes.
Job Preferences and Matching
When you set job preferences, we collect data including:
- Preferred specialties and role types
- Desired locations and work arrangements (remote, on-site, hybrid)
- Experience level and employment type preferences
- Industry and nonclinical category preferences
- Salary expectations
This data is used to personalize job recommendations on the website and in email alerts. Your job preferences may be used in aggregate (anonymized) form to improve our job matching algorithms.
Salary Survey Data
When you submit salary survey data, we collect information including:
- Compensation details (base salary, bonuses, total compensation)
- Specialty, practice setting, and years of experience
- Geographic location (state/region level)
- Employment type and work arrangement
- Contract and negotiation details
Anonymization: Individual salary submissions are anonymized before being included in aggregated salary reports. We do not display individual salary data in a way that could identify specific contributors. Aggregated salary data may be shared publicly or with partners for research and informational purposes.
Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed entirely through Stripe. Mozibox does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers.
What Mozibox stores: Subscription status, plan type, billing period, Stripe customer ID, and transaction history references. This information is used to manage your subscription and provide access to paid features.
Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Email Marketing and Communications
We use the following third-party services for email communications:
- Brevo (formerly Sendinblue): Used for transactional emails, job alert notifications, and marketing communications. Your email address, name, and email preferences are synced with Brevo.
- Mailchimp: Used for newsletter delivery and email marketing campaigns. Your email address and subscription preferences are synced with Mailchimp.
You can manage your email preferences or unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time through the unsubscribe link in any email or through your account settings.
Coaching Directory
The coaching and mentorship directory is powered in part by Supabase as a data backend. Coach profiles displayed on the platform (name, bio, specialties, and contact information) are provided by the coaches themselves and stored in our database systems. If you contact a coach through the platform, your contact information may be shared with that coach.
Analytics and Tracking
Mozibox uses Ahoy (a first-party analytics system) to track visits and events on the platform. Data collected includes:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Pages visited and actions taken on the platform
- Referral source and UTM campaign parameters
- Visit timestamps and session duration
This data is used to improve the platform, understand usage patterns, and measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts. Analytics data is stored on our servers and is not shared with third-party advertising networks.

Social Logins
Note: The privacy policy template above references Facebook and X (Twitter) as social login options. Mozibox currently uses Google as its primary (and only active) OAuth sign-in provider. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not post to your Google account or access any other Google services on your behalf.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account settings. Upon account deletion:
- Your profile, resumes, job preferences, and saved jobs will be permanently deleted from our active systems.
- Your salary survey submissions will be retained in anonymized, aggregated form (individual attribution is removed).
- Your email address will be unsubscribed from all marketing lists and removed from Brevo and Mailchimp.
- Your Stripe subscription (if any) will be canceled, and Stripe will retain transaction records per their data retention policy.
- Residual copies of your data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being automatically purged.
- Content you have published (such as comments or articles) may be retained in anonymized form.
